Neil McConnell named Director of Lender Product Support

(Aurora, CO) Nelnet recently named Neil McConnell as Director of Lender Product Support. Under McConnell's direction, Lender Product Support will work with Nelnet lender and secondary market clients in several areas, including training lender and secondary market clients on all Nelnet products, resolving daily client-specific issues and concerns, establishing client satisfaction measurement tools, and working with clients to forge strong and lasting partnerships in markets throughout the country.

Mr. McConnell has been with Nelnet since 1992. During this time, he has played a major role in Client Relations, forming positive relationships with many key clients, while consistently meeting and exceeding their expectations. "Neil's leadership experience, his knowledge of our clients, and his experience with our products are all critical components to ensuring Nelnet's commitment to customer satisfaction," commented Don Bouc, President of Nelnet Corporation and the company's chief spokesperson.

Prior to Nelnet, Mr. McConnell worked three years for the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) and Illinois Designated Account Purchase Program (IDAPP). He received his BS in Finance from Illinois State University in 1987.
