LINCOLN, Neb., March 1, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Nelnet, Inc. (NYSE: NNI) announced today that it is delaying the release of its 2008 year-end results as the company's independent external auditor completes its review of the valuation of the company's derivative portfolio, which is excluded from base net income. The company previously announced it would issue an earnings release before market open on March 2, 2009. Depending on the timing of the completion of the review, the company may also reschedule its earnings conference call currently scheduled for the afternoon of March 3, 2009.
